Seasons and Hunting Dates:  The seasons for waterfowl run from the middle of September through the end of November.  We plan to hunt until November 1st.  After early November snows start, the birds are headed south.

Hunts: We hunt waterfowl in the morning until around 1 P.M.. Afternoon hunts are untill sunset.   Field hunts for Snows/Blues, Canadas/Specklebellies, and Ducks are from layout blinds and are usually one guide per 6 clients max.  Puddle duck hunts for Ducks and Geese are in the large potholes and smaller lakes.  We will arrange a variety of hunts to suit the interests of your group, and generally do not mix parties unless you have less than 6 hunters.  Please keep in mind that some hunts are dependent upon calm weather for safety reasons.

Game:  The Saskatchewan Prairies and Quill Lake region are legendary for their World Class Goose and Duck Hunting!  We shoot Canada Geese and Specklebelly Geese (limit of 8 per day) plus lots of Snow Geese (limit of 20 per day).  We shoot mixed limits of ducks including Mallard, Pintail, Teal, Widgeon, Bluebill, Redhead, Canvasbacks, ...just about every duck that travels the Central and Mississippi Flyways! (limit of 8 per day).  Our guides have 20 years of hunting experience.

Weather:  The weather can vary greatly from morning and evening and from day to day.  Temperatures can go from 20 degrees in the early morning hours to 70 degrees or higher in the afternoon.  It may even snow in September!

Location:  We are located in the heart of the Central Pothole region of Saskatchewan, we are licensed to guide over 13000 square miles from the Manitoba border to Saskatoon.  Travel time from the airport will vary depending upon the location of the migrating birds.  Book travel into Saskatoon, Yorkton, or Regina airports.

Accommodations:   Lodging and meals are optional.  Lodging is in local motels and houses which will vary depending upon the location of the birds.  Local motels in Canada are very basic accommodations, but clean and comfortable.   Meals will be at local restaurants.

Included:  The guides;  equipment such as decoys, boats, blinds; dogs if needed.

Not Included:  Transportation to Saskatchewan, rental car, guns, SHELLS, bird processing, alcohol, licenses or other Canadian Government imposed fees (approx. $150 Canadian dollars), gratuities.

Deposits:  Deposits of 50% due at booking.  Balance due when you arrive at the lodge for your hunt. Due to limited availability and the advanced planning needed to ensure a quality trip, we are unable to refund any payments. We will be happy to answer any questions regarding this policy.
