ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA CANADA GOOSE HUNTS

Our Canada goose hunts in Minnesota consist of 23 prime Canada goose hunting locations. We have 12 pitted fields and four fields with layout blinds in Rochester with a no hunt club/no unguided hunting policy. The locations are in all of the prime funnels around the city of Rochester. North, South, East or West we can always get at them. We also have fields that are in city limits. The majority of our fields have 7 two-man pits that are individually wired with buzzers. Top Gun pit fields boast a unique pit-lid system which allows you to be totally concealed but have full visibility of decoying geese in your face. We also have several fields that we scout and hunt daily out of layout blinds. When the pit fields are not an option we offer the opportunity to hunt on the X. These areas are in low pressure remote areas that have been scouted that have geese feeding in them the night before that greatly increases your odds of success. The more locations the better chances we have to get you on birds. I grew up in Rochester and have countless connections in Minnesota for goose hunting opportunities.

Where:

We have fields in Rochester, West Metro, Hutchinson, and South Metro. Rochester offers 12 pitted fields and 4 non-pitted. We may be adding a few pitted to the list. We have expanded to the metro. We hope to be pitting our metro fields in the near future. We are constantly expanding our fields as patterns and bird numbers change every year.

What to Expect:

A typical goose hunt begins an hour before shooting time at a designated location. Hunters follow the guides to one of our select fields, where we proceed to set up anywhere from 150-450+ full body Canada goose decoys. Chairs are always provided in the pits. Final Approach layout blinds are provided when pits are not an option. Calling experience is not required, as we generally have a minimum of 2+ excellent goose callers on each guided hunt. Hunters are required to bring their own guns/shells and a strong desire to shoot their limit of geese!

Policy:

We do not offer club memberships or unguided hunts in the Rochester area. I feel this is what sets us apart from the rest!!! Most outfits have a hunt club that can hunt any day of the week with daily pay per day hunters that are fully guided showing up on the weekend to burnt out fields. Also I feel that non- guided hunters tend to shoot at non- decoying geese that are just passing. We pride our service on managing our locations for goose hunting. We want to offer fresh fields so when you arrive you will have close clean shots.

Regular Season Hunt: $90.00

Late Season Hunt $100.00 (full day)

All Inclusive 3 Day Hunt: $600 (includes food, 4 nights lodging, bird cleaning, and shells)
